The Communities In Schools PA Network Welcomes a New Affiliate Executive Director

Lehigh Valley, Pa. — The board of directors of Communities In Schools of the Lehigh Valley (CISLV) has named Timothy Mulligan the organization’s new executive director. Mulligan most recently served as the executive director of Catholic Charities of Schoharie County, New York, where he oversaw a diverse human service agency specializing in domestic violence services, counseling, emergency assistance and food programs.

Mulligan served as the director of campus ministry at the College of St. Elizabeth in Morristown, N.J. Prior to that, in Syracuse, N.Y., Mulligan was the executive director of the St. Thomas More Foundation and the chaplain at Syracuse University and the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. There he co-founded Northside Ministries, providing free legal and medical clinics for the underserved.

Currently residing in Bath, Mulligan is a graduate of Lafayette College with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He holds a master of divinity and a master of arts in theology from Washington Theological Union, Washington, DC.
